Camper World has been set up by a small group of VW Camper owners who found it frustrating and time consuming when trying to find information on VW Campervans quickly on the internet. As one member of the team is also a professional web designer the idea is to bring together all the existing information and more into one, fully searchable, attractive and easy to use community based website.

Although we currently have over 9400 listings (mainly in campsites) we are constantly adding to our categories, and have just introduced a new feature that allows you as a registered user, to create yoru own listing for FREE for your non-profit organisation and submit for our approval for inclusion in the onine directory. (If you are a business or 'for-profit' organisation we are currently offering 3 months FREE for you to try out our service. Please contact our sales team for further details.)

We are confident that in a very short space of time, our listings and categories will significantly increase and encompass the entire spectrum of services information regarding the VW Camper scene/industry, and drastically improve the ease in finding out the information you need, quickly and effectively.

With over 25, 000 hits alone in our first 4 days of our launch (August 2006), we have been impressed with the number of people that we have both met in person at shows and through the website who are crying out for a service such as this. We are confident that with the support we have already had for this new venture, that Camper World will become the VW Camper Website standard in the UK. We of course need the continual support from you, and hope that we are able to provide a service that will keep you coming back, and contributing to the online community that we are trying to buld. If you feel that you could contribute to the website through articles, suggestions of new categories, improvements or constructive criticism, we would love to hear from you. We welcome any feedback, suggestions, as we want this website to be an asset to the VW Camper community, something that is living and breathing, and that we can all call our own.
